PREPAID ACCOUNTS

 

Constructing a new border facility with parking space, sophisticated I.T. systems and a modern working environment has contributed to the smooth flow of traffic at the border, while reducing the turnaround time of trucks. KBP enables “qualified transporter companies” to establish a prepaid account with us.

• Transporters can establish a prepaid account for paying the crossing fee of the new terminal, thus eliminating the need to hand out cash to drivers

• Transporters provide a list of their fleet of trucks, which is captured in the system. Only trucks that appear on the list can be charged to the transporter’s account

• Transporters with a prepaid account must have an authorized Agent at the border.

• All transporters with prepaid accounts receive weekly statements detailing the trucks that were charged, to the account, for that specific week.
